Choose Buy Now, Pay Later at checkout for a short-term installment plan with no long-term interest, or Pay-in-4 to split the adoption fee into four equal, interest-free payments over six weeks. Prefer to pay once your new companion has settled in? Pay on Delivery lets you complete the adoption first and pay upon arrival for local and eligible shipped adoptions.

Nationwide shipping is available on eligible listings, fully insured and tracked door-to-door, with your pet's comfort and safety as the top priority the whole way.

Not ready for a full adoption, or need to rehome a pet of your own? Our growing self-service portal is where both journeys start.

Foster a pet temporarily while we find its forever family — we cover food, supplies, and vet care during the foster period, and a Foster-to-Adopt option lets you turn a trial stay into a permanent adoption whenever you're ready. If instead you have a pet of your own that needs a new home, our rehoming portal lets you create a listing so Pet Center can help match them with the right family, safely and at no listing fee.

Adoption Starter Kit

The first 24 hours with a new pet shouldn't be spent making an emergency supply run. A Starter Kit can ride along with your adoption so your new companion walks into a home that's already ready for them.

Each kit is sized to the animal — a crate or carrier, a leash and collar or harness, a starter bag of food matched to their current diet, bedding, and a few age-appropriate toys. Add a Starter Kit during checkout on any eligible listing, and specify which items you'd like on the application — you tell us what your home still needs, we bring the rest.
